We have just updated our site with full details for Real Racing 2 and released a gameplay trailer:

Real Racing 2 is the most exhilarating handheld racing experience.
It will be available on the App Store on 16 December 2010,

This all looks amazing! I am so very excited for this!
Any chance of seeing the Bathurst 1000, seeing as you guys are from Australia. Or maybe some rally cross races/tracks. I know you guys are probably bogged down with trying to get it released, but I think these would make great future updates.

PS: I'll love RR even more if you can include Bathurst 1000 aka Mt Panorama. The greatest track for the greatest racing sim eh. :)

Just wondering: The detail in track objects, cars and especially lightning and shadows in the iPhone version of RR2 is impressive but the resolution of the screen is lower than on the iPad. So my question is: Will the iPad version of RR2 feature all the effects of the current version? Or in other words, is the iPad strong enough to deliver the same level of detail in a higher resolution?

While I'm excited about the new release of Real Racing 2, I hate these staggered releases for the iPad versions of games.

but the iphone display is smaller, 3,5inch with 960 x 640,IPS panell and 326ppi is exactly so brilliant like 9inch with 1024×768, i think the retina display has little bit better qualitiy like the ipad screen.

Love this game, playing it right now, but the only problem is no Lamborghini, Ferrari, Mercedes, Porsche, Zonda, Koenigsegg, Bugatti, etc.

This game is awesome. The race tracks are challenging. Find that some of the vehicles don't hold the road very well when going around corners this is on certain tracks only. I hope in the future you come out with another challenging game like Racing 2. Great game

Yeah I agree I looked at the car list going to buy RR2 now but RR2 definatly needs cars like: Lamborghini, Ferrari, Mercedes, Porsche, Zonda, Koenigsegg, Bugatti Chevrolet (especially: chevy camaro 2010), Audi, Corvette etc.
