It should do regular iPad video mirroring on the iPad 1 at the native iPad resolution.

Cool feature… Although it is concerning that the driving experience is significantly better in the original Realracing. Realracing 2 has cool features but unfortunately, with the driving being significantly less responsive, I will likely stick with the original version of the game.

Does the tv out also work via apple tv ?

Unfortunately Apple TV isn't capable of streaming 1080p realtime gameplay from a game like this.

It is real neet! Woke my son up, he had to see what all the tire noise was about!
Now if I didn't have to fight to use the tv for this that would be great!

Dear firemint ; please make this a option for the iphone4. I would pay for this service. I'm not rich like most of the guys on here I can't afford a iPhone and a ipad2 that would be over$200 a month just for service not to mention $800 for the ipad2 DAMM give us poorboys a break.

Sorry, but 1080p wireless streaming of realtime gameplay isn't possible with Apple TV.

Until Firemint changes the whatever for the on line play, where kids drive backwards, car pass you up on the starting line, ghost cars appear from nowhere, this app is junk. Your being hacked, that's obvious. That it's kids with no interest in the game is also obvious. Fix  it or lose not only my business, i'll make it my lifes mission to expose these flaws in your system to prospective customers. I'm a real fan, up till now. So please address these issues or I have no use for this company.

Great game, works perfectly on my first generation iPad. I've played for over 60 hours so far and it only crashed once. I restarted my iPad and everything went back to normal.
Just one question. Can I use a first generation iPad dock connector to VGA adaptor to output RR 2 HD to a standard definition monitor?

Regarding the VGA adapter for standard definition output with the iPad 1, this isn't something that the game officially supports but it may incidentally work on some setups. I can only guarantee that video output will work with the iPad 2.

Please try this:

Close all currently running Apps
To see which Apps are currently running on your device, quickly press the Home button twice while you're on your device's main menu.
This will display a multitasking tray at the bottom of the screen with icons representing each App currently running in the background.
To close these Apps, hold a finger on one of the icons until they all start to wiggle. When they begin to wiggle, a small (-) symbol will appear on each icon. Tap the (-) symbol on each icon to close all of the currently running Apps.

Rebooting your iDevice
Hold your device's power button until a slider appears on screen. Slide the slider to turn off your device, the power down process will take a fairly short amount of time. Once the device is fully turned off, press the power button once more to turn it back on. It will again take a short amount of time to fully turn on.

Once you've closed all Apps and rebooted your iPad, please launch the game.

I love this game but I have a question Does the game I paid real money for participating in a race or buy a car?

You use in-game currency to buy the cars. You earn this by winning races in Career mode.

If you don't have enough in-game currency you can use in-app purchasing to buy more in-game currency.

Will real racing 2 be availible for andoid, I have a samsung galaxy s 1ghz cortex a8 with a SGX 540 much better than the iphone 4 SGX 535.
I was looking foward to buying this game on the market and found out that it was not available. I mean its not that hard to port it to android if you use imagination technology sdk.

Hey, could you add an option in the in-race pause menu to “action freeze.” Many games are now doing this, and for a game with as good graphics as RR2HD, this would be phenomenal, with the ability to pause with the cars in hot pursuit, dust in the air, and move around the car, like at a menu, and take a picture. WOW!
This would be amazing!

I’d like to see more similar cars like McLaren, so race would be more interesting. And latest updates of IOS and RR2 HD are reduced a lot game’s performance. So there’s no reason to buy it, even on a sale.

I Want Real Racing 2 For Pc…

Running latest version of RR2 HD on Ipad 2 to TV ( iOS 5.01 non jb) and even After rebooting the device, performance is poor even if it is just against one opponent
