Real Racing 2 HD on the iPad connected to my flatscreen via Apple TV works, but has a slight lag that you don’t get when connected via a cable. The lag isn’t much, but it definitely does affect the gameplay.

This looks quite interesting, however if playing on my Mac whilst steering with my iPhone also has the same lag, I’ll wait until they get it worked out.

    Fantastic game though!

System Requirements? I have an iMac 24″ (early 2009) with a really not so good nVIDIA 9400M GraphicCard with 256MB video memory. So, can I play it?

I don’t think the lag from steering from the iPhone will be noticeable. There isn’t as much information transferred via WiFi, only the steering angle.

The game looks pretty good. Unfortunately, the keyboard controls aren’t very good at all. It’s like there’s lag between pressing a key and the action actually happening. It’s also a bummer that the app messes up the all other windows’ positions.

control – point browser on iphone to address posted in game.
easy to link, but there’s an unsatisfactory lag.

It’s ridiculous that they don’t publish min specs.

The iPhone controls are laggy, and the keyboard controls aren’t that great. It looks like a straight iPad port. Graphics are pretty, but essentially the same you get on iPad.

  • Rich

? what does that mean “only reverse”? Get the same message on my iPhone

  • Balint

I got the following message, despite the game running, and is connected to the same wifi network as my iPhone:
“Could not connect to Real Racing 2. Please ensure the game running and is connected to the internet.”

I purchased this game for my IPad for $0.99 CDN. Did I purchased a limited time trial.version, or do I own the game

Worst controls ever… iPod connects but just cuts out half way through and is laggy… using trackpad is awful and unresponsive… and keyboard is way to sensitive, you do like a 180 every time you hit a key… Don’t recommend until they sort out the controls.

Also why do you ALWAYS start in last place…

  • Samkostka

You own the game, it was on sale right now

What are the system requirements? Do you know nothing about developing for the PC? You can’t just assume it’s going to run. According to many people, it doesn’t even have graphics settings.

No problems with the [ipod] controller, but it’s boring. Am I missing some secret part of the game?

  • Nic
