Real Racing 2 updated to v1.02

The latest update to Real Racing 2 is now available on the App Store… and it’s a big one! Not only are there six new events for you to complete, we’ve made a number of improvements to multiplayer, including the addition of leaderboards and rankings.

Here’s a list of all the changes you’ll see in 1.02:

  • Six all-new events to experience and master, including Cup, Time Trial, Head-to-head and Elimination:
    IEJ Blue Ribbon (Cup)
    Alkeisha Island Dash (Head to Head)
    Volvo STCC Elimination (Elimination)
    NRGee 6 Cyl Cup (Cup)
    Motul Autech Face-off (Head to Head)
    Twilight Time Attack (Time Trial)
  • Boast your best efforts with the newly added online multiplayer leaderboard and multiplayer rankings.
  • Multiplayer grid position is now determined based on multiplayer rank.
  • Multiplayer game rooms have been extended with player rank and point rewards.
  • Multiplayer server performance has been improved.
  • New measures have been implemented to prevent malicious driving.
  • Control method E layout has been adjusted to improve the experience for players using this method.

    Thanks Firemint for the updates on Real Racing 2. This remains my favorite racing game. However eversince one of the last updates every time I try to play one of the 16 car race tournaments the game consistently crashes on me. Didn't ever have this problem before. Just curious if anyone els has this same issue. Thanks!

    Great update to lengthen the career mode but some form of gamecenter invite system is really needed in RR2. That and the addition of some new cars, although more popular car companies such as lambo, porsche and ferrari will charge high liscencing fees, i feel that the game could benifit massively because of it.

    Sorry Firemint ! I wanted to be a little more clear in this comment then the last about my problem. So to be more “precise” the game consistantly crashes on me when I try to play a Championship race in career mode also other random crashes here and there. This started after the last 2 updates. Using it on my iPod touch 4G version 4.2.1 Please help!

    Complete all events in career mode to unlock this car. It's given to you as a reward for doing so

  • A Real Racer Too

    FIREMINT … there are LOTS of online issues with Real Racing 2:

    *Cars morphing
    *Certain caracters cars out GREATLY out-performing other identical cars (not due to driver)
    *BAD lag
    *Race points issues (racer who finish below are awarded higher points for some reason)

    And more

    It's making online a bad expirience. Are you addressing these?

    Online racing is piece of shit, lots of problems. Same cars but for some reason some cars are much faster than others like they have turbo option!! Some cars are there just to hit you and some others do not get affected if they drive off the road!!

    Newbie here. I’ve completed career and got the f1 but when racing online against other f1′s they seem to drive much faster ! Anyone know why this is or is it just my poor driving skills lol. Hope it’s not the latter!

    How do you get ranked online? At first it was NA, now it’s 6000 something. Also, online is glitchy like a person finishes first without you seeing them, even though they’re right ahead of you
