Real Racing 2 HD enhanced for the new iPad!

With the launch of the third-generation iPad, Firemint is excited to announce a new update for Real Racing 2 HD. Available now, v1.13.00 adds support for the Retina display and includes a new photo capture mode, among other changes and improvements. See below for the complete update list:

    Grand National, Monacato Shield, Mayapan Beach, crashes back onto iPad 2 main screen, latest version RR 2HD will not proceed further on this section of 3 races. Compleated everything else.

    Dear developer I purchased real racing 2 for iPhone 4s and now I have new I pad which inhibits me to play this game in high resolution. I guess it iis not hd game so it allow to play in 1x with good resolution. Will you be giving us update which will convert real racing 2 into hd game or i have to purchase it again?

    Hey guys, just upgraded from ipad2 to ipad3 and the game runs much much worse in retina resolution. I can definitely notice lower frame rates in all normal modes, however the behind-the-wheel camera is even slower (probably due to extra geometry and textures and etc…).

    I would love an option to turn off the AA and/or Retina resolution. Honestly, the extra sharpness almost makes the game look worse because the lighting model and textures are not quite as complex as we’re used to. So lowering the resolution and/or turning off AA will increase the framerate, which right now is a much more perceivable visual artifact.

    Génial!!!! mais je préfère l’ancienne version pour ces courses plus réalistes par contre les graphismes

     I downloaded it directly using my new iPad (iPad 3) and it installed without problems. I then opened the app and it showed the opening sequence. The Firemint logo and the introduction video. However, after that the screen goes into the loading screen with the real racing logo at the center and a small “loading” circle animation at the bottom. The loading circle appears to move at first but after a few seconds, stalls and nothing happens. I tried quitting the app from the multitasking bar and running it again but I get stuck at the same spot. I even restarted my iPad and run the app again but still it gets stuck at the loading screen. I synced my iPad to my Mac and transfered the app there… removed it from my iPad by long pressing the icon and hitting the ” x ” button. Then reinstalling it by syncing my iPad to the iTunes on my Mac. When I launched the game again, still its stuck there.

    Sounds like something is wrong with the copy of the game that is synced on your Mac. Can you try deleting it from both your iPad and Mac and downloading a completely fresh copy from the App Store?

    I think you should make more Real Racing Games with different tracks and different racing cups like V8 Supercar series from Australia, Touring Cars from England etc. Also it would be even more exciting if it had more car damage.

    I just bought my first iPad (third generation) and downloaded four games right away – 1) Real Racing 2 HD, 2) Metalstorm, 3) Virtual Table Tennis HD, and 4) Spy Mouse HD. The last three games are decreasingly graphically taxing but still look great. But I am really impressed by Real Racing 2 HD. I almost felt like watching my PS3 or a high end PC game on a 9 inch screen. Fluid smooth graphics, really. Kudos to the developers. And hope I get some discount on the Real Racing 3 HD for this comment ;)

    The game will not advance past the Club Level!
    I have won all the races endlessly
    but the first level remains at 66 percent!
    The prize money goes up after each race but nothing else does.

    Is there something I am missing?
