The Webby Award nominated Real Racing 2 and Real Racing 2 HD have been updated to version 1.13.01! Both games are still on sale for a very limited time to celebrate the Webby nomination, and now they’re even better with the following improvements:

What’s new in Real Racing 2 for iPhone v1.13.01

  • Now supports multiple languages, including French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Dutch and Brazilian Portuguese.
  • Multiplayer heads-up-display now makes use of the 3D game environment.
  • Career difficulty adjusted to better cater for players selecting easy and medium.
  • Numerous additional improvements, fixes and performance optimizations.

What’s new in Real Racing 2 HD for iPad v1.13.01

  • Photo Mode is now accessible via a button in the pinch-and-zoom area
  • Photo Mode user interface has been localized
  • Chevrolet Corvette C6.R livery has been corrected
  • A number of crashes have been resolved
  • Numerous additional improvements, fixes and performance optimizations.

    I think that there should be big crashes and the pit lane sholud be open so that you can get a new set of tires and a new set of bumpers

    Id like to have more than one career per device. For example I would like to start the game over but at times switch back to other career that has all rhe cars.

    More everything! Super job… But even more realism, gears tire deg wet weather, downforce tweaks suspension tweaks, car selection for specific tracks, compulsary pit stops for races over 5 laps

    Thanks guys ! I think multiplayer could be even better if players could make their own rooms and putting rules, for example minimum points to join (for great drivers who don’t want to play with novices), or disabling collisions (with bad connection it is sometimes impossible to drive correctly, and some players always put adversaries out of track…)

    As much as I like Real Racing in my iPhone but there is a minor flaw (glitch) compared to Grand Turismo. I have been noticing whenever I play the game either in Time Trial or Quick Race that everytime I speed off from the start/finish line and I wiggle the car by turning the steering wheel to left and right, the tires somehow don’t turn naturally according to that of the steering wheel motion but the front of vehicle does the performance as if it performs a yaw rotation (it is a movement around the yaw axis of a vehicle that changes the direction the vehicle is facing, to the left or right of its direction of motion). Another thing is that the front/rear bumpers and side mirrors can come off easily

    Unlike in Grand Turismo where everything looks normally (the movement of tires follow its steering wheel motion and its front/rear bumpers/side mirrors are firmly attached unless if we have fender benders with other cars). Some improvements it has made so far including but not limited to:
    - Reduced the amount of steering pull when using force feedback steering
    wheel controllers in banks on courses (to reduce g-force)
    - Fixed an issue of speedometer, race position and best lap time info.
    - Fixed an issue of exhaust racing sound
    - After all it is improved the performance of races to provide a better racing experience.

    I think think this game is the best racing game ive played. In my opinion its better than most xbox 360 and ps3 racing games ha
    But i do wish there was more cars….
    It would be even more so worth the money i spent on this game if there were the mini coopers and some ferrari, and keoniggseg cars added in an update soon!
    At least consider it alot of people would love it and ill definately recommend it to everyone i know that has a smart phone!

    P.s. on my Iphone after i updated the software to the new I.O.S 5.1.1 the game is glitching ALOT on career and online modes…… Please fix

    One of the best racing games I’ve every played on ipad2..wish there were more performance parts for the cars some tuning would be nice like changing gears and ride hieght tires wheels and nos..more cars would b cool too

    Great game but why can’t I turn off the music for good. Every time I start I have to go in to settings and turn down the music. It’s not like it’s even motor racing music!

    Yikes, the model for the 2010 Jaguar RSR XKR GT looks pretty awful. What’s with the low polygon count and ragged textures?

    High end cars (all for that matter) need more customization. Looks kinda lame in online races with 90% of the cars looking alike whether they can stay on the road or not.

    Totally agree!! if we can customize few basic rules, such collisions ( or at least minimize or max the way they afect you in the race ) and play in a ranking base adversaries the game will be more rewarding for those who want to play with other people and feel the adrenaline of the fight for the top places. Definitely we need more cars and tracks!

    I have real racing 2 for the kindle. The steering is reversed. When i tilt left I go right, and vice versa. How do i fix?

    Real Racing 2 used to work really well with my 2nd Gen iPod touch. Your help and support page even says it is compatible with any generation.

    However the current version is only compatible with iOS 4.3 and above, and the 2nd generation only supports up to 4.2.1 so it wont let me install it.

    Please could you make the last working version continue to be available for those of us who bought this game, but are not lucky enough to have a newer device can still enjoy it.
