The Mac App Store version of Real Racing 2 has been updated with improvements to the iOS controller system, as well as other general enhancements. These changes are directly influenced by player feedback, which we highly value. On the back of the recent Apple announcement to reveal Mac OS X Mountain Lion is the exciting news that Real Racing 2 is set to deliver a fully-featured update, notably including support for Game Center and AirPlay.

OS X Mountain Lion reveals powerful new opportunities for players on Mac, and Real Racing 2 is going all out to take advantage of the new functionality. Like the iOS counterparts, Real Racing 2 for Mac will be integrated with Game Center to include achievements,  leaderboards and the hotly requested friend invites for online multiplayer. For our existing Mac players, we have listened carefully to your feedback and can divulge now for the first time that Real Racing 2 will offer seamless synchronization of your save game across iOS and Mac.

The addition of AirPlay to OS X Mountain Lion further drives the amazing gameplay options now available to players, with Real Racing 2 for Mac again supporting AirPlay at a launch - just as it did for the launch of iOS 5.

Here’s how in v1.0.0

Requirements

• An iOS device with iOS version 4.3 or greater
• A copy of Real Racing 2 from the Mac App Store
• Mac capable of running Real Racing 2
• WiFi network

1. Make sure Real Racing 2 is running on your Mac. You can connect your iOS device at any time, as long as the game is running.
2. Visit control.cloudcell.com on your iOS device. Cloudcell will attempt to pair your Mac and your iOS controller automatically. It does this by matching the IPs, so your Mac and iOS device will need to be on the same network for this to work.
3. control.cloudcell.com is used as a convenience; the URL is easy to remember and type in to your address bar. If it does not work, simply use the ‘direct’ URL listed in the controls menu instead. Make sure that you enter this URL exactly as it appears on the controls menu.
4. For easy access next time, use the ‘Add to Home Screen’ feature in Safari to save a link to the controller on the springboard.
