EA is bringing together two world leading studios within the mobile space- IronMonkey and Firemint to form Firemonkeys. These two studios have entertained over 50 million players in 2012 alone with stellar titles including Flight Control, SPY mouse and Real Racing from Firemint, along with Mass Effect Infiltrator, Dead Space and The Sims FreePlay from Iron Monkey. Based in Melbourne Australia, both studios have been developing mobile games for over a decade and combining the two teams makes the Firemonkeys Australia’s largest game development studio.

Requirements

• An iOS device with iOS version 4.3 or greater
• A copy of Real Racing 2 from the Mac App Store
• Mac capable of running Real Racing 2
• WiFi network

1. Make sure Real Racing 2 is running on your Mac. You can connect your iOS device at any time, as long as the game is running.
2. Visit control.cloudcell.com on your iOS device. Cloudcell will attempt to pair your Mac and your iOS controller automatically. It does this by matching the IPs, so your Mac and iOS device will need to be on the same network for this to work.
3. control.cloudcell.com is used as a convenience; the URL is easy to remember and type in to your address bar. If it does not work, simply use the ‘direct’ URL listed in the controls menu instead. Make sure that you enter this URL exactly as it appears on the controls menu.
4. For easy access next time, use the ‘Add to Home Screen’ feature in Safari to save a link to the controller on the springboard.

To coincide with the launch of iOS 5, Firemint is pleased to announce the release of the 1.12 update for Real Racing 2 and Real Racing 2 HD. We’ve added some amazing new features for iPhone 4S and iPad 2, including full AirPlay support, Party Play via AirPlay or HDMI and gorgeous visual enhancements.
